After your application is approved by the Immigration Department of Malaysia (status at 70%), download the eVAL from the EMGS website.What is eVAL?
Purpose: Issued by the Malaysian Immigration Department to confirm the approval of your Student Pass application. It grants permission to enter Malaysia for further processing of your Student Pass but is not the pass itself. Follow all rules in the eVAL.Validity and Processing Time:
- Processing Time: Typically takes 6-8 weeks. The eVAL is valid for 6 months.
- Download: Access eVAL from the EMGS website. If required, apply for a Single Entry Visa (SEV) from the Malaysian Embassy as indicated in your eVAL or eVISA. Enter Malaysia as a student.
