Issuance:
Once your application is approved by EMGS (status at 32%-35%), you can download the EMGS Approval Letter. This indicates that your application is ready for submission to the Malaysian Immigration Department for eVAL approval.
What is the EMGS Approval Letter?
Confirm that EMGS has reviewed your application and verified that you meet the minimum academic requirements. It prepares your application for submission to the Immigration Department for eVAL approval.
NOT A VISA: The EMGS Approval Letter is not a visa and does not permit entry into Malaysia. Approval is at the discretion of the Malaysian Immigration Department.
Post-Arrival Requirement: You must undergo a Post-Arrival Medical Screening. Your institution will then submit your passport to the Immigration Department to receive your student pass, which is solely under their jurisdiction.
