If a student loses their passport, they must:

- Contact their home country's embassy or consulate in Malaysia to apply for a replacement passport.
- Notify their university’s International Student Office and provide a copy of the police report and embassy acknowledgment.
- Once the replacement passport is obtained, update visa information with the Malaysian Immigration Department.
