Medical Check-Up

Please note the following regarding the mandatory medical check-up:

The student needs to do a General Check-Up including blood and urine tests, and a chest X-ray.

Post-Arrival Requirement: Complete the medical check-up at EMGS-approved clinics/hospitals within 7 days of entering Malaysia.

Note: Try to avoid taking any medicine until you attend the medical screening in Malaysia.

All applicants from Sub-Saharan Countries are required to bring along their Yellow Fever Card.

 

Important Notes:

  • Mandatory: Failure to complete the check-up will result in the rejection of your student pass.
  • Preparation: Avoid prescription and over-the-counter medications one week before the exam.
  • Menstruation: Inform the welfare team if you are menstruating to reschedule.
  • Accuracy: Provide truthful information to avoid application rejection.

Students who fail the examination may appeal within 3 working days. If the appeal is unsuccessful, returning to your home country is required at your own expense.

If you come from a Yellow Fever-risk country or transited through it for over 12 hours, a valid Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is required.
